Washington Utilities is pleased to report on the success of their most recent effort aimed at assisting low income customers. Through a partnership with Electricities, an organization of municipally owned electric services, Washington Utilities was able to purchase and hand out 100 energy saving kits over the last month. The energy kits included items such as: compact fluorescent light bulbs, a low-flow shower head and a refrigerator thermometer. These items and others included in the kits are to help customers save energy and lower utility bills.
