Turned on Headline News this morning around 11am. What was on TV? Not news about the BP oil spill or Jordan van der Sloot, but an ongoing hostage situation in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. 

Apparently, two hostage situations are going on at the same time, one in Sacramento CA and the other in our beloved home town, Rocky Mount.  Headline News is having a busy day.

In Rocky Mount, US Marshalls were attempting to serve a warrant, in relation to a Baltimore MD homicide, when the individual barricaded himself in a house on Kitchen Drive, along with a hostage who, apparently, was inside the house.
