I have a call in to Elaine Marshall, who is trying to work out the logistics of calling in to tonight’s show. Marshall is in a run-off with Cal Cunningham tomorrow, June 22.  If you’re Democrat, GO VOTE! 

Also, as I discussed on Friday’s show, we will show clips of the video of RMPD Chief John Manley.  Primarily, this video is about the cost of running the Rocky Mount Police Department, but  we also talked about the Missing and Murdered Women and the possibility of a Serial Killer in Rocky Mount.

Interestingly, this video was shot only weeks before Robert Draper came to town to research his GQ article, “The Lost Girls of Rocky Mount”.

I’ve criticized Draper for the way he handled Manley’s comments.  Draper will be on Jammin’ 99.3 on Wednesday at 8am.  I’ll also be on Jammin’ 99.3 that day as a co-host.  I’m looking forward to speaking with Draper, personally!
