Short answer: Fox News and the Glen Beck’s of the world.  It’s sad that some Americans are so frickin’ lazy that the only news they get comes from the cable news channels.  People aren’t reading as much because they aren’t taking the time to read.  Most have forgotten how to read for that matter. 

I remember an interview with Harry Reasoner (CBS News) about 30 years ago.  The question put to him was “how can people get the ‘real’ information and stay informed?”  His answer:” read everything you can get your hand on…especially foreign newspapers like The London Times. “

You know, Reasoner was right.  After reading about the Iraq war for 7 long years, I can honestly say that most of the “true” reliable information came from foreign sources. 

So, I guess it shouldn’t surprise me to learn from the Christian Science Monitor that 20% of Americans falsely believe President Obama is Muslim.   It does surprise me, however, that busy people (people so busy they don’t have time to read) have the time to give a sh*t. 

Folks, here’s the real deal: don’t spend so much time worrying about the Faith of the President.  Instead, worry if the President thinks God called and ordained him to be President.  George Bush thought God had called him to the Oval Office and look what happened there.  Can you say cluster f&$k!
