What’s the point of having due process when you can’t necessarily get impartial justice?  Here is the WJP Rule of Law Index for 2010.  Among developed nations, the United States ranks close to the bottom, and overall, doesn’t lead in any major category.

What the report found, however, is that justice and the availability of legal resources is  contentment upon your wallet: the more money you have to spend on “justice” the more likely you are to get justice.

I would encourage everyone to read this. Ask yourself questions. Why is it that we, as Americans, are so  caught up in Hollywood’s law and order TV shows, but can’t provide impartial jurisprudence in the real world?  Are you content that in some categories the United States ranks lower than Mexico and Croatia?
