Why Democrats need to worry about 2016.
Take a look at this recent video of Sen. Bob Dole. Chris Wallace asked could Dole make it in the Republican party today? Dole said, “probably not. Reagan couldn’t have made it and Nixon certainly couldn’t have made it.”
Like it or not this is the old guard of the Republican party. But, I believe this is the true guard of the Republican party. America is so fragmented now with extreme right and extreme left it’s frightening.
But, I believe that Republicans are “gelling” and galvanizing in ways the Dems need to heed. The center of the Republican party is raising up and a storm is gathering.
Republicans will not make the same mistakes and miscalculations of the past few years.
Carl Rove and Dick Morris will not look like fools this time. You can believe that.
They will also take the reigns of the Republican party back. This is NOT a time for Democrats to think anything is a “sure thing” or “in the bag.” It’s all on the table.
