Here is my take on this. But, feel free to listen to the report on CNN if you can get past all the ads.

Mattis is promoting his new book. He’s making all the important cable television news shows. Most of those cable outlets have somewhat of a liberal bias. That’s okay, we’ve come to pretty much expect that.

But, you can’t work for a president as long as General Mattis did and not face at least some criticism on why Syria was the straw that broke the camels back.  Or why he didn’t resign sooner rather than later.

He can’t have it both ways.  And, he should be called into question now that he’s backing up and reassessing his relationship with Donald Trump in an effort to sell more books.
