This is why we can’t have nice things.

For many years Los Angeles has mismanaged taxpayer funds with some of the most extravagant salaries in the nation.  And, for years California has been in a fiscal crisis.

Now, LA is using Covid to ask Congress for billions more in taxpayer money to bail them out.  The kicker is that local governments such as this think they are doing nothing wrong.
