Over 70+ military aircraft were scrapped before the American troops left Kabul.  For some reason the Taliban feel angry because those planes and helicopters were what the terrorist called ‘national assets that could have been used for our benefit.’

Well, no shit.  Are the Taliban really that stupid?  No, they’re not.  In fact, they’re quite smart.  At best, this is a propaganda instrument and will be used as such.  Much of the leftover military equipment has been earmarked to Iran according to some news reports.  And, this is where things get complicated and a little scary.

It’s not so much that Iran will be getting our Black Hawks, but they will be getting the top secret software used to guide those aircraft. So, at some future point in time, Iran could use our own technology against us should a conflict ever occur.   Israel also uses American technology to a point.  That brings about a bigger and more global issue of a squeamish getting out of control and turning into a major conflict that escalates completely out of control.
