Trump isn’t the same candidate he was in 2016. Last night he looked older and tired.

Regardless, his win last time resulted from a perfect storm that won’t happen again.

Arguably Hillary Clinton has never been a stellar candidate. And even though 538, the New York Times, The Washington Post, and virtually every other mainstream news and polling organization had Hillary winning at 98%- she simply was not likable and believable.

Bernie people did not vote for Hillary and the general election in 2016. If anything a significant number of them voted for Donald Trump out of protest. Those Dynamics do not apply now.

so it’s not just Hillary focusing too much on a glass ceiling of having the first female president. It’s not just the 2016 primary rigging. It’s not just her picking a pathetically inept running mate. It is a combination of all of it that drove Trump over the finish line.

Trump needs to sit down and be quiet. He needs to support the next nominee of the Republican Party.
